The Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau High School is located on the north edge of the city of Galesville, Wisconsin, on U.S. Highway 53.

 

If coming from the north on U.S. Highway 53, the high school will be one of the first buildings on the right.  The speed limit drops to 35 mph and the first right turn takes you to the north driveway of the parking lot.

 

If coming from the northwest on Highway 35 (along the Mississippi), go straight at the 4-way stop sign at Centerville, WI, continuing on Highway 54/93.  Galesville is about 5 miles after Centerville.  At the stop and go lights, turn left into Galesville, going north onto Highway 53.  Travel through the city of Galesville on Highway 53/Main Street (crossing two bridges) until you arrive at the high school on the left side of Highway 53.

 

If coming from the east on Highway 54, turn right onto Highway 53.  It is about 2 miles to Galesville.  Just before the stop and go lights, the highway goes to four lanes.  Take the ramp to the right and north on Highway 53.  Travel through the city of Galesville on Highway 53/Main Street (crossing two bridges) until you arrive at the high school on the left side of Highway 53.

 

If coming from the south on U.S. Highway 53, before the stop and go lights, the highway goes to four lanes.  Take the ramp to the right and north on Highway 53.  Travel through the city of Galesville on Highway 53/Main Street (crossing two bridges) until you arrive at the high school on the left side of Highway 53.

 

From Minnesota, take I-90 to La Crosse, and exit onto Highway 53 north to Galesville.  See information above – “coming from the south”.

 

All teams:  The parking lot is on the north end of the high school building.  Please enter through the north doors.

 

From High School to Ettrick Elementary School:  As you leave the G-E-T High School parking lot, turn right onto W 1st Street/CR-D, turn right onto S Main Street/CR-D (0.1 mile), turn left onto E State Street (0.1 mile), turn right onto Washington Street.  It takes approximately 10 minutes to get from GET High School to the Elementary School

 

From High School to Middle School:  The Middle School driveway (19650 Prairie Ridge Lane) is less than a ¼ mile north of the high school just off Hwy 53 (near the implement dealership).

From Eau Claire:

·         South on Highway 93 to Eleva.

·         Proceed to Main Street/WI-93/CR-Y. 

·         Continue to follow WI-93 for 16.7 miles. 

·         Turn left onto WI-121/Whitehall Road. 

·         Continue to follow WI-121 for 5.3 miles. 

·         Turn left onto US-53/MainStreet/CR-D (0.3 miles)

·         Turn left onto US-53/Ervin Street. 

·         Continue to follow US-53 for 16.4 miles. 

·         Turn left onto W 1st Street/CR-D (0.2 miles). 

·         Turn right onto S Main Street/CR-D (0.1 mile). 

·         Turn left onto E State Street (0.1 mile), turn right onto Washington Street.

 

 

From Ettrick Elementary School to High School:

 

Turn left onto Washington Street, turn right onto E State Street (0.1 mile), turn left onto S Main Street/CR-D (0.1 mile), turn left onto W 1st Street/CR-D (0.2 mile).  It takes approximately 10 minutes to get from Elementary School to the High School
