From
points in Wisconsin,
you can use State Highway 35 from the south, and State
Highways 10 & 29/35 from the north and east.
From Minnesota, come in from
the west on Minnesota State Highway 10.
Minnesota State Highway 10 intersects with Minnesota State Highway 61
just south of Cottage Grove
and North of Hastings.
HIGH SCHOOL
1220 St. Croix Street
From
points in Wisconsin, take Highways (10, 29
& 35) to the point at which they all intersect (at a stop light in Prescott). When you are at the stop light:
From
Highway 29/35, proceed straight through onto Campbell Street. The M&I Bank and then the Churchill Market
will be on your right; the high school softball & football fields will be
on your left. Proceed 3/10ths of a mile
to the intersection of Campbell Street and St. Croix Street and take a left
(you can see the High school & the parking lot in front of it from the
intersection of Campbell Street and St. Croix Street).
From
Highway 10, take a left onto Campbell
Street at the stop light. After making the turn, the M&I Bank and
then the Churchill Market will be on your right, and the high school softball
& football fields will be on your left. Proceed 3/10ths of a mile to the intersection
of Campbell Street and St. Croix Street and take a left (you can see the high
school & the parking lot in front of it from the intersection of Campbell
and St. Croix).
If
you’re coming in from the south (Highway 35), just before you enter downtown,
turn up the hill (right) onto Kinnickinnic Street. You’ll
pass by both the middle & elementary (Malone) schools (on your left). After ˝ of a mile, Kinnickinnic
runs into Campbell Street – veer left onto Campbell Street and proceed another
1/10th of a mile to the intersection of Campbell and St. Croix Streets and turn
right onto St. Croix Street (you can see the high school & the parking lot
in front of it from the intersection of Campbell Street and St. Croix Street).
If
you’re coming from Minnesota – you have two
options: Take Highway 61 to Highway 10
exit (just north of Hastings, and south of Cottage
Grove). Head east for 3 miles (on Highway 10) into Prescott. Cross over the bridge and
either:
1)
Turn left at the very first intersection you encounter (Highways 10/35). Cabanna Joe’s will
be on your immediate left. Stay on
Highway 10/35 for approximately 2 miles until you reach the intersection of Highways
10, 35 and 29 (at a stoplight in town). Turn
right at the stop light onto Campbell
Street. Proceed down Campbell Street (after making the turn,
the M&I Bank and then the Churchill Market will be on your right, and the high school softball & football fields
will be on your left. Proceed to the intersection of Campbell Street and St. Croix Street and
take a left (you can see the high school & the parking lot in front of it
from the intersection of Campbell
Street and St. Croix Street).

Just after you’ve crossed the St. Croix River
and reached the first intersection – turn right and proceed through downtown.
Just past downtown, turn left up the hill onto Kinnickinnic Street.
You’ll pass by both the middle & elementary (Malone) schools (on your
left). One half mile later, Kinnickinnic Street
runs into Campbell Street
– veer left onto Campbell Street.
F ollow Campbell Street to the intersection of Campbell
and St. Croix Streets and turn right onto St. Croix Street (you can see
the high school & the parking lot in front of it from the intersection of
Campbell Street and St. Croix Street).
MIDDLE SCHOOL
125 Elm Street
From
Highway10, or Highway 29/35, follow the same instructions as if going to the
high school, but keep going on Campbell Street to Kinnickinnic
Street, which curves to the right and heads down the bluff (that happens just
after you pass by the front of the Malone Elementary School). Veer right onto Kinnickinnic Street
and drive down to the point at which it intersects with Elm Street. You’ll see the middle school when you reach
the intersection of Kinnickinnic Street and Elm Street. Turn
right onto Elm Street
and park directly in front of the middle school (on Elm Street).
From
the south (Highway 35), take Highway 35 into town and turn up the hill (right)
onto Kinnickinnic
Street. The
middle school is just up the hill (on your left) at the intersection of Kinnickinnic Street
and Elm Street.
Turn left onto Elm Street and park in front of the
middle school (on Elm Street).
From
the west (Minnesota), take Highway 61 to
Highway 10 exit (just north of Hastings, and south of Cottage
Grove). Head east for 3 miles (on
Highway 10) into Prescott. Cross over the St. Croix
River bridge and head straight through
the very first intersection you encounter (Cababba
Joe’s will be on your immediate left). Drive
up the hill to Elm Street
and turn right (onto Elm Street).
Two blocks later, you’ll see the middle
school on your right. There is on-street
parking directly in front of the middle school (on Elm Street).
MALONE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
1240 St. Croix
1)
From Highway 10, or Highway 29/35, follow the same instructions as if going to
the high school, but keep going on Campbell
Street to Kinnickinnic Street,
which curves down the bluff. You’ll see Malone Elementary on your immediate
right. Veer right onto Kinnickinnic Street and use
the parking lot at the rear of the building – the entry point of which is right
after you make the curve onto Kinnickinnic Street.

From the south (Highway 35), take Highway 35 into town and just before you
enter the downtown, turn up the hill (right) onto Kinnickinnic Street. Kinnickinnic Street goes past
both the middle & elementary (Malone) schools (on your left). At the point
where
Kinnickinnic Street
runs into Campbell Street
– veer left (the elementary school will be on your immediate left). Park at the rear of the
building.
3)
From Minnesota, just after you’ve crossed the St. Croix River and reached the first intersection – turn
right and proceed through the downtown. Just past the downtown, turn left up
the hill onto Kinnickinnic
Street. You’ll pass by the middle school (on your
left). Malone Elementary is located
right at the point where Kinnickinnic Street runs into Campbell Street (on
your left). Park at the rear of the building.
