POPLAR
Northwestern High School
The Poplar teams are from the Northwestern School District, which is
located on the south shore of Lake Superior.
The High School is located
one block north of Highway 2 in the town of Maple. Maple is 3.7 miles east of Poplar.
The elementary school is
located 1.8 miles east of Poplar or 1.9 miles west of Maple on the north side
of the road.
The middle school is located
2 miles east of Poplar or 1.7 miles west of Maple on the north side of the
road.
Highway 2 is the only major
road that will take you to the schools.
If approaching from the east or west, you will be on Highway 2. If approaching from the south, you will most
likely take Highway 53 north or Highway 27 north until you reach Highway 2.
