Nekoosa High School is located two blocks south of the Wood Avenue (Highway 173) and Cedar Street intersection. Wood Avenue/Highway 173 runs east/west through the city.

From I-39 heading south:

Take the Plover Road exit #153. Turn right off the ramp onto Plover Road heading west. Continue on Plover Road for 1 mile. Plover Road will run into WI-54 West. Follow Highway 54 West to Wisconsin Rapids. Turn right on WI-13/WI-54 and follow this for 1.9 miles. You will cross the Wisconsin River. Turn left after you cross the bridge and follow WI-54/WI-73 for 3.4 miles. You will enter Port Edwards. Turn right and continue to follow WI-54/WI-73 out of Port Edwards for 1.3 miles. Turn left onto Highway 73/Prospect Avenue and follow into Nekoosa for 2.1 miles. You will come to a stoplight (Market Street). Turn right and follow Market Street/Highway 173 for 0.9 miles. Turn left following Highway 173/Cedar Street for 2/10 of a mile. Stay on Cedar Street for 3/10 of a mile. Nekoosa High School straight ahead.

From Highway 54 heading east:

Follow Highway 54 East to County Trunk GG. Turn right on County Trunk GG and follow for 1.7 miles. Turn left on Highway 173 and follow for 1.6 miles. Turn right and continue to follow Highway 173 for 0.6 miles. Turn left and follow Highway 173/Wood Avenue one mile. Turn right on Cedar Street and follow for 0.3 miles to Nekoosa High School.

From I-39 heading north:

Take the Exit #136. Turn left on State Road 73 and continue to follow WI-73 for 16.7 miles. Turn right on WI-13/WI-73 and follow for 0.2 miles. Turn left on WI-73 and follow for 4.2 miles crossing the Wisconsin River as you enter Nekoosa. Turn left and follow Market Street/Highway 173 for 0.9 miles. Turn left following Highway 173/Cedar Street for 0.2 miles. Stay on Cedar Street and follow for 0.3 miles to Nekoosa High School is straight ahead.

Follow Highway 54 West to Wisconsin Rapids. Turn right on WI-13/WI-54 and follow this for 1.9 miles. You will cross the Wisconsin River. Turn left after you cross the bridge and follow WI-54/WI-73 for 3.4 miles. You will enter Port Edwards. Turn right and continue to follow WI-54/WI-73 out of Port Edwards for 1.3 miles. Turn left following Highway 173/Cedar Street for 2/10 of a mile. Turn right on Highway 173/Wood Avenue for 3/10 of a mile. Turn left on Birch Street and follow 0.2 miles to Alexander Middle School.

From Highway 54 heading east:
