COTTER JR. HIGH SCHOOL / JOHN NETT CENTER

7th Street / Lafayette Street intersection

 

From the north (Red Wing):

 

Take Highway 61 to Winona.  Turn left onto Huff Street.  Go over Lake Winona and take a right on Sarnia.  At the next four way stop take a left onto Main Street.  Take Main Street to 7th Street where you will take a right on 7th Street.  The John Nett Center is located on the corner of 7th Street and Lafayette Street.

 

From the south (La Crosse):

 

Take Highway 61 to Winona.  Turn right on Mankato Avenue, which is the first set of stoplights.  Pass by the hospital, Lake Winona and over the tracks to a four way stop which is at the intersection of Mankato Avenue and 8th Street.  Take a left onto 8th Street.  Stay on 8th Street until you get to Lafayette Street (little over a mile) and take a right onto Lafayette Street.  The John Nett Center is located on the corner of 7th Street and Lafayette Street.

 

From the west:

 

From Highway 14 to Winona: Turn right onto Highway 61.  Turn left onto Huff Street.  Go over Lake Winona and take a left on Sarnia.  At the intersection of Huff Street and Sarnia there is a four way stop, take a left onto Main Street.  Take Main Street to 7th Street where you will take a right on 7th Street.  The John Nett Center is located on the corner of 7th Street and Lafayette Street.

 

From Interstate 90, Highway 43:  Take a left onto Mankato Avenue at the first set of stoplights by the Holiday Inn.  Stay on Mankato Avenue and pass by the hospital, Lake Winona and over the tracks to a four way top which is located at the intersection of Mankato Avenue and 8th Street.  Take a left onto 8th Street.  Stay on 8th Street until you get to Lafayette Street (little over a mile) and take a right onto Lafayette Street.  The John Nett Center is located on the corner of 7th Street and Lafayette Street.

 

From the east (Wisconsin):

 

Take Highway 54 over Interstate Bridge into Winona.  Cross the bridge and proceed straight.  You will be on Winona Street.  Turn left onto Broadway (6th Street).  Go five blocks and take a right onto Lafayette Street.  The John Nett Center is located on the corner of 7th Street and Lafayette Street.

From the north (Red Wing):

 

Take Highway 61 to Winona.  Turn left onto Huff Street.  Go over Lake Winona and past Sarnia Street to Mark Street.  Turn right onto Mark Street.  Turn left onto Johnson Street.  Memorial Hall is straight ahead.

 

 

From the south (La Crosse):

 

Take Highway 61 to Winona.  Turn right onto Huff Street.  Go over Lake Winona and past Sarnia Street to Mark Street.  Turn right onto Mark Street.  Turn left onto Johnson Street.  Memorial Hall is straight ahead.

 

 

From the west:

 

Take Highway 14 to Winona.  Turn right onto Highway 61.  Turn left onto Huff Street.  Go over Lake Winona and past Sarnia Street to Mark Street.  Turn right onto Mark Street.  Turn left onto Johnson Street.  Memorial Hall is straight ahead.

 

 

From the east (Wisconsin):

 

Take Highway 54 over Interstate Bridge into Winona.  Cross bridge and proceed straight.  You will be on Winona Street.  Turn left onto Broadway (6th Street).  Go three blocks to Main Street and turn right.  Go five blocks.  Memorial Hall is on the right-hand side.

360 Vila Street

 

Highway 61 North:

-        Proceed to the intersection of Hwy 14-61 and Vila Street.

-        Turn right onto Vila Street.

-        Proceed through the intersection of Vila Street and Gilmore Avenue.

-        Go three blocks, Barb Bischel Memorial Gym (Parking lot) on St. T’s Campus is located on the right.

 

I 90:

-        Take the Hwy 43N exit ramp, exit number 252, to Winona.

-        Continue on Hwy 43N to the set of stop lights at the intersection of      Hwy 43N/Homer Road.

-        Turn left on Hwy 43N/Homer Road

-        Turn left on Hwy 61N/14W

-        Continue with above directions for Highway 61 North.

 

Highway 61 South:

-        Proceed to the intersection of Hwy 14-61 and Vila Street.

-        Turn left onto Vila Street.

-        Proceed through the intersection of Vila Street and Gilmore Avenue.

-        Go three blocks, Barb Bischel Memorial Gym (Parking lot) on St. T’s Campus is located on the right.

 

Highway 14 East:

-        Proceed to the intersection of Hwy 14-61.

-        Turn right onto Hwy 61S-14E.

-        Continue with above directions for Highway 61 South.

 

Wisconsin:

-        At the bottom of the Interstate bridge in Minnesota, continue straight for two blocks to Broadway/6th Street.

-        Turn right onto Broadway/6th Street.

-        Go approximately fifteen blocks to Vila Street (three blocks after crossing railroad tracks), turn left.

-        Go two blocks, Barb Bischel Memorial Gym (Parking lot) on St. T’s Campus is located on the left.

ST. MARY’S UNIVERSITY

 

From La Crosse (South):

 

Take Highway 61 to intersection of Highways 14 and 61 (fifth stoplights).  Turn left on Highway 14 to Rochester, go through one stop light.  St. Mary’s University in on the left side after one mile.  Turn left into campus, 200 feet after you go under walkway.

 

 

From Red Wing (North):

 

Take Highway 61 to intersection of Highways 14 and 61.  Turn right on Highway 14 to Rochester, go through one stop light.  St. Mary’s University in on the left side after one mile.  Turn left into campus, 200 feet after you go under the walkway.

 

 

From Rochester (West):

 

Take Highway 61 straight to Winona.  St. Mary’s University is one mile before Winona on the right side.  Turn right into campus at bottom of hill.  (If you go under the walkway, you went 200 feet pat the entrance.)

 

 

From Wisconsin Bridge:

 

Cross bridge and turn right on Broadway.  Turn left on Huff Street.  Turn right on Highway 61.  Turn left on Highway 14.  Go through one stoplight.  Turn left into campus, 200 feet after you go under the walkway.
