LA CROSSE CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL

1801 Losey Blvd S

 

School located on the corner of Green Bay Street and Losey Boulevard.  Please use the main entrance in the rear next to the main parking lot.

 

To Central from the south Hwy 14/61/35:  Follow 14/61/35 north to Losey Blvd Stoplights (Quillin’s IGA on the left).  Turn right onto Losey and follow for two miles.  Central High School is on the right.  Turn right at the Green Bay Street stoplights.

 

To Central from the east on I-90: Take exit 5 (Hwy 16).  Turn left onto Hwy 16 for about eight miles.  The road changes to Losey Blvd. Continue on Losey Blvd for three miles until you see a K-Mart on the left. Continue thru the K-Mart intersection (State Road and Losey Boulevard stoplights), and turn left at the next stoplights - Green Bay Street.

 

To Central from the north Hwy 53: Follow Hwy 53 to Hwy 16 (Valley View Mall area).  Turn right onto Hwy 16 for about seven miles. The road changes to Losey Blvd.  Continue on Losey Blvd for three miles until you see a K-Mart on the left.  Continue thru the K-Mart intersection (State Road and Losey Boulevard stoplights), and turn left on Green Bay street (the next stoplights).

 

To Central from the west or north on Hwy 61/14/90: take Interstate 90 west to Exit 275 for La Crescent, just prior to crossing the Mississippi River into Wisconsin.  Follow Highway 61 south about 2.3 miles to La Crescent.  Turn left on Hwy 16.  Continue 3 miles then turn right on 3rd Street South.  Continue 0.4 miles and turn right on Jackson Street.  Stay on Jackson until it merges-right onto State Road.  Continue on State Road to Losey Blvd Stoplights (K-Mart ahead on the left). Turn right onto Losey Blvd and immediately get into left lane to turn left at the next stop lights (Green Bay Street).

 

To Central from Viterbo: Go south on 8th Street to Jackson Street. Turn left onto to Jackson. Stay on Jackson until it merges-right onto State Road.  Continue on State Road to Losey Blvd Stoplights (K-Mart ahead on the left). Turn right onto Losey Blvd and immediately get into left lane to turn left at the next stop lights (Green Bay Street).

 

 

 

LOGAN HIGH SCHOOL

1500 Ranger Drive

 

Exit off I-90, Highway 16, exit 5.  Turn left onto Highway 16.  Stay on Highway 16 for about two miles.  Take a right at Gillette Street.  Go approximately one mile, and you should be able to see Logan High School on your left.  Take a left at Ranger Drive (street before the next set of lights.)  The entrance is located at the second parking lot.

 

 

 

 

AQUINAS HIGH SCHOOL

315 11th Street

 

Aquinas High School is located at the corner of West Avenue and Cass Streets.   Parking is available on side streets as well as in the parking lot behind the school (south end) on Cameron Avenue (Cameron Avenue is a one way street with traffic flowing from west to east).

 

To Aquinas from the south Hwy 14/61/35:  Follow 14/61/35 north to West Avenue Stoplights. Turn right onto West Ave and follow for 3.5 miles to Cass Street stoplights. The school will be on your left.  Turn left on Cass Street for one block, and turn left again on 11th street to access the parking lot on the south end of the school.

 

To Aquinas from I-90: Take exit 5.  Turn left onto Highway 16.  Stay on Highway 16 for eight miles.  Highway 16 merges into Losey Boulevard.  Go two miles, and then turn right on Cass Street (Catholic cemetery will be on your left). Follow Cass Street 13 blocks crossing West Avenue (the school will be on your left) and turning on 11th Street to access the parking lot on the south end of the school. 

 

To Aquinas from the north Hwy 53:  Follow Hwy 53 to Hwy 16 (Valley View Mall area). Turn right onto Hwy 16 for seven miles. LONGFELLOW MIDDLE SCHOOL

1900 Denton Street

 

School is located on 19th & Redfield Street - only four blocks northwest of Central High School. Parking is also available on side streets. Please enter the gym through the parking lot entrance only.

 

To Longfellow from Central HS: Go west on Green Bay Street for two blocks to 21st Street Turn right onto 21st and Longfellow is two blocks ahead on the left.  Turn left onto Denton Street and turn left again to enter rear parking lot.

 

 

LINCOLN MIDDLE SCHOOL

510 - 9th Street South

 

Exit off I-90, Highway 16, exit 5.  Turn left onto Highway 16.  Stay on Highway 16 for about eight miles.  Highway 16 merges into Losey Boulevard.  Go two miles, and then turn right on Market Street (Catholic cemetery will be on your left).  Go 23 blocks on Market Street to 9th Street.  Turn right on 9th Street.  Go two blocks on 9th Street.  The school is on 9th Street between Ferry and Division Streets.  They gyms are on the Ferry Street side of the school.  Parking is on side streets. 

 

 

 

 

 

VITERBO UNIVERSITY STUDENT ACTIVITY CENTER / MATHY CENTER

900 Viterbo Drive

 

The Boy’s & Girl’s Club Mathy Center is attached to the back of the Viterbo University Student Activity Center (SAC) between Winnebago & Mississippi Streets on 8th Street. Parking is available on side streets as well as in Fine Arts Center parking lot on 9th & Jackson.

 

To Viterbo from the south Hwy 14/61/35:  Follow 14/61/35 north to West Avenue Stoplights. Turn right onto West Ave and follow for three miles. Turn left at Jackson Street stoplights. Go four blocks on Jackson to 8th St. Turn right on 8th street. Rear entrance is ahead 1 ½  blocks on right.

UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN – LA CROSSE

1725 State Street

 

From Interstate I-90, Exit 3, Exit 4 and Exit 5 all lead to the UW-La Crosse campus, but only the closest exit is listed below for each direction.  Exit 3 travels along the scenic Great River Road and is the main route to Historic Downtown La Crosse. 
 
Exit 4 is a direct route south linking Hwy. 53 from the north with Hwy. 16.
 
Exit 5 is the most easterly route into the City of La Crosse via Hwy. 16.
 

From the West (I-90): Exit Interstate I-90 at Exit 3 onto US 53 South. Drive 3.9 miles and turn left on La Crosse Street; continue for 1.1 miles and turn right on East Avenue to Campus.

From the North (Hwy. 53): If traveling south on Highway 53 (go over I-90 at Exit 4). Follow Highway 157 to Highway 16. Turn right on Highway 16. Drive 3.5 miles and turn right on La Crosse Street and then left on East Avenue to campus.

From the East (I-90): Travelers heading west to La Crosse on Interstate I-90 exit at Onalaska-La Crosse Highway 16 (Exit 5). Turn left onto Highway 16. Drive 4.8 miles and right on La Crosse Street and then left on East Avenue to campus.

From the South: Highway 14, 61, and 35 enter the city on the south. Follow the green "UW-La Crosse" signs north on Losey Boulevard to Highway 16 (3.0 miles). Turn left on La Crosse Street and then left on East Avenue to campus.
