604 - 7^th Avenue East

The Durand High School has two gyms.  The street in front of the school is Prospect Street (which is also the same street all of the highways intersect).

If you come from the east (Mondovi direction) on Highway 10, at the stoplight, turn left.  Go for ½ mile, school is on the left.

If you come from the northeast into Durand on Highway 85 (Eau Claire direction), stay on Highway 85 through stoplights.  Go for ½ mile, school is on the left.

If you come into Durand from the west (Ellsworth direction), Highway 10, go over bridge.  At second stoplights, turn right (Prospect Street), go for ½ mile and the school is on the left.

If you come from the north into Durand on Highway 25 (Menomonie direction), turn left onto Highway 10 and go over bridge.  At second stoplights, turn right (Prospect Street).  Go for ½ mile, school is on the left.

If you come from the south into Durand on Highway 25 (Nelson, Wabasha direction), stay on Highway 25.  The school is on the north side of town on the right.

Durand St. Mary’s

From I-94, take Exit # 41, WI-25.  Follow Hwy 25 for 20.4 miles. Turn LEFT onto US-10 / WI-25, continue for 1.6 miles.  Turn RIGHT onto W Prospect St/WI 25, continue 0.4 miles.  End at St. Mary’s Assumption (901 Prospect Street).

Arkansaw Middle School

From Eau Claire:   Take Highway 37 south out of Eau Claire for 3 miles.  Turn right on Highway 85 west.  Go through Caryville and Rock Falls to Durand for 23 miles.  There is a pool on the right and a football field on the left as you enter Durand.  At the stoplight, turn left.  Follow Hwy 10 through second set of lights.  Go over the bridge and up the hill.  Continue going straight on Highway 10 west.  You will go down a hill and then up a hill and at the top of the hill on your left you will see a farm.  Take a left on North H Street and the Arkansaw Middle School is about ½ mile on the left.  (Look for the school sign on the right that tells you where to turn.)

From Menomonie:   Go on Highway 25 south for about 11 miles until you get to a stop sign with the John Deere shop on your left.  At the stop sign, take a right onto Highway 10 west.  You will go down a hill and then up a hill and at the top of the hill on your left you will see a farm.  Take a left on North H Street and the Arkansaw Middle School is about ½ mile on the left.  (Look for the school sign on the right that tells you where to turn.)

From Mondovi:  Take Highway 10 west for 15 miles into Durand.  At stoplights, keep going straight.  Go through second stoplights.  Go over the bridge and up the hill.  Continue going straight on Highway 10 west.  You will go down a hill and then up a hill and at the top of the hill on your left you will see a farm.  Take a left on North H Street and the Arkansaw Middle School is about ½ mile on the left.  (Look for the school sign on the right that tells you where to turn.)

From Nelson:  Take Highway 25 into Durand to the stoplight at the north end of town.  Dairy Queen will be in front of you.  Turn left onto Highway 10 west.  Go through second set of lights and over bridge.  Go three miles.  Take a left turn on County Highway D.  Go about ½ mile.  Watch for the school sign.  Turn left into school on H Street.

From Ellsworth:  Take Highway 10 east to Highway D.  You will see a sign that says Arkansaw.  Take a right turn on Highway D.  Go approximately ½ mile.  Watch for the school sign.  Turn left into school on Highway D.

Caddie Woodlawn Elementary School

If you come from the EAST (Mondovi Direction) on Highway 10, you'll come to a stoplight by the Dairy Queen and the Panther Drive Inn. Take a left and go by the high school which is on the left about a half -mile. Go down a little hill and at the bottom it will be 3rd Ave, turn left (if you go by the Cenex gas station you went too far) go up to the top of the hill. On top of the hill turn left on to Auth St. follow that around and Caddie Woodlawn is on your left.

Direction from Highway 85 (Eau Claire direction) are the same as above, once you go through stoplights.

If you come to Durand from the WEST ( Ellsworth/Menomonie direction) Highway 10 or Highway 25 will join Highway 10. Go across the bridge.  Go to the second set of lights.  Turn right.  Follow direction above past high school.

If you are coming on Highway 25 (Nelson, Wabasha direction) follow Highway 25 past Conoco, Subway and National Bank on your left.  Keep going straight on Highway 25 until you go by the Cenex station. Take a right onto 3rd Ave E. Go up to the top of the hill and take a left on to Auth St., follow that around and Caddie Woodlawn is on your left.
